Siri stopped working on iPhone 6

I've got used to getting Siri to dial numbers etc while driving - but today it stopped working.
Press the button  it instead of the wavy sound bar while 'she's ' waiting for instructions I just get the microphone icon.

Tried rebooting phone. Siri off then on  Tuesday still nothing.
Current version of iOS.

Any suggestions?

Don't worry, we are having windows phone issue here.... mine won't open emails and the wifes won't run cortana....

Failing that I've found Apple support not too bad on the very rare occasion I needed to call them!

Response was great - and the programmers at Apple have a great sense of humour.

There was a 'carrier update' the other day - but can't find anything on the web about this problem.
I press the home button and instead of the sound wave indicating it's waiting for speech - it just goes "Sorry, I missed that."

Fantastic Service from Apple Support.
Spent 1/2 hour on the phone with 2 consultants - and Issue has been fixed.

Ended up resetting phone (not full factory reset as that would be painful).

Sounds like you really got on her bad side after that request, then you asked for up date and she quit.

Swmbo's the same, no problem turning off, its the turning on that seems to be the issue

Might even be you telling her Moggy.
And you won't even know you did.
But she'll know.
Get your snow gear out cos you'll be getting the cold shoulder.

Mine has crapped out as well.

My wife and kids don't listen, I don't want Siri ignoring me as well

Definitely talk to support.  Really helpful people.

I did a reset and it came back.
Reconfiguring my settings was a pain though
