Hi everyone.

These are on special at Autobarn at. The moment. Has anyone got one or used one that is prepared to advise whether they are any good.
My plan is to use it to charge my dual battery in the car to make sure the fridge keeps running.

Cheers, David

Does it comprise of two rows of cells? If it does, from my experience it will be difficult to 'stand it up' and face it towards the sun. It may be possible to place it on the vehicle windscreen. I had a Giant setup and it was very difficult to manage. It was a shame because the panel itself was excellent.
Projecta (and possibly some others) units are a 'single row with detachable legs that enable it to be pointed towards the sun.

Haven't got the Rough Country one but do have a Projecta 120W and find it excellent. When funds permit will purchase a second.
Don't know your budget or location but Anaconda have them for $558.99 at the moment. Which is as cheap as I've seen them.

Hi UIZ733,

I went and had a look at it in the flesh there is no stand, but for bthe most part I would have it lying cross the windscreen of the car or on the roof. It seems a solid unit and the owner at Autobarn (who Iknow to be a straight up guy) says that although he doesn't know how well they work, he has not had any complaints or had any come back. Still thinking about it...

Hi Woftam,
These ok to be a good unit, and a nice discount at the moment, but they dont have a store anywhere near me. It is also a little more than I was intending to pay given I do have a less portable set of panels i keep in the camper.
Cheers, David
