Hi All

We are off to Harrington for a week on Sunday and I am trying to decide what toy I take with me for some me time when the girls (wife & 14yo daughter) start arguing. Options are MTB, Ocean Ski or Fishing Kayak. Am leaning on the fishing kayak as it could bring back dinner if i get lucky.

What do you all think?

Yak, we've been at Forster since Boxing Day, and the fishing is off its head at the moment, can only imagine Harrington will be similar given the proximity

Thanks All

Will be the Yak, if I could it would be MTB & Yak but space is a premium at the moment.

So long as you have tried your best, you should have no regrets.

I reckon this idea's the best though.

I wouldn't bother with the bike, any tracks around Harrington will be sand and not especially fun on a bike.

Take the fishing kayak. You can have some luck in behind the breakwall or head out past the boat ramp and into the main river.

The ocean kayak could be an option, you could duck across to Manning Point for an icecream.

I was reading that a large great white was spotted off Crowdy a week or so back and a rather large tiger shark was landed at Foster, so don't become lunch for something further up the food chain.

Great trails in the crowdy nat park, trails go all the way to Dunbogan and others go all the way up to Moorland on the old highway. But there is also a ton of waterways that go all the way up to Coopernook and back to Taree, Wingham area....hard choice
