That was my impression of the newtriton.net crew too.
There's about 6 or 8 people who can say what they like, the rest get shut down pretty quick.

Yeah I think we are very lucky here, no arguments this is the best imho. Paj forum was good too friendly and well moderated and for a single brand forum very tolerant IMO. I remember when buying the Paj I posted same questions on Paj and prado forum and the prado thread got shut down pretty quick once the answers didn't go there way

I'm on LCOOL still, and never had a problem. I admit that they can be a bit anal (no not that way), but they do try and keep the technical posts clear of garbage..

I'm a member on LCOOL, have found it to be an excellent technical forum.

As an Admin here, I admire their stance, there are no religious or political threads over there.

This forum was created when Brett and founding members found themselves disenchanted with the forums at the time. And there have been a couple of breakaways from this forum too, some with acrimony. So let us not criticise those others but continue to contribute and enjoy.

as good a technical forum it may be,  certain people can be quite rude at times with the way they moderate that place. Apparently I was going there be responsible for all the 105 series in Australian getting stolen with one thread I posted up there...I ended up deleting the thread due to that moderators carry on, but over a dozen members have approached me to help them out via P.M for the technical info I removed. I refuse to put the thread back up there again, and can't be bothered documenting any more how to threads for that forum anymore due to that mods response.

This could relate to many other forums apart from here... well apart from 1 that nobody has seen in a longtime.
