I was over visiting friends in Adelaide and saw that the GT Nationals were on so had to go and have a look. Gee, there are some nice cars out there and then managed to follow some home through country Vic so had the radio off and window down as they stopped and started through some of the towns.  :cup:

Think some had a bit of an idea they would hold their price or maybe go up a little if they held onto them for a while, I know of one GTHO Phase 3 that the guy bought when he was 18 and has owned from  new.
Driven and  raced it like it was built to do till a few years ago, [ the original engine and Gearbox sits under cover on a trolly in the garage ] A lot of people  convinced him to build up another car and park the original Falc, after he had a wild high speed off track excursion .. No damage but it was to close a call to being totaled to keep risking it .

Trying to work on the engine would be interesting. You'd need go go gadget arms to reach in from the sides over those fenders

Yep, the set course from willowbank to warwick and return is around 650 klm. (so, in other words, the long way)

That's a decent drive I remember driving to heathcote dragway and back in a mates LH Tory drove it there ran a naturally aspirated 10.50 with a 383 then drove home it was a warm day and the heat coming through the firewall was insane lol will be interesting to see what it runs now that it's on the bottle with a 150HP shot.

4000 to import it :)

FOR SALE! Very rare 1929 Diamond T Model 290 1 1/2 Ton, dual wheel rack body truck. This is a true barn find time capsule. Purchased new by a potato farm in Manchester, Connecticut and used right up into the 70's until the state ran a highway through their farm and the truck was parked in the barn. Sold from the farm to a friend of mine just a few years ago who sold it to me last summer.
Just don't have the time or space for it right now. Rock solid throughout. The metal has surface rust overall but the only actual rot is just a little at the bottom of the door skins.
Otherwise it's all solid and original. All original wood inside including body wood, floors, and window/door trim. Original Chestnut bed is also rock solid with awesome patina and no rot.

Engine spins over by hand and I have everything required for a tune up including the extremely rare original carburetor which has been rebuilt plus a spare repro carb. Also have the original headlight glass and trims. Original porcelain Diamond T emblems with solid brass door hardware. Windshield and door glass gone but easy to remake.

Original spare tire is under the bed. The passengers side rear outer wheel is damaged probably beyond repair. Comes with an impossible to find original 1929 Diamond T owner's manual! No title sold on a CT bill of sale only.

Asking $8500 or best offer, really want to see this go to a good home. Would be cool to get running and driving as is like we planned or a perfect candidate for a proper restoration since all the original parts are here, nothing missing.
This is RARE! I don't know of another this early that is so complete and original. Located in East Haddam, Connecticut. Message or call/text
