I'd have more brakes than that to start with.  ;D

Pretty painful 10"40 pass.... our old datto, at 10'60's, was like a trip to the shops.
I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.

rags

Around 3 years ago my elder brother past away and left a collection of cars ( and other stuff) for my other brother and I to sort.
Included in this was 4 complete but non going F trucks plus another 3 in pieces.
We sold 2 off last year and kept and my brother has rebuilt these 2 examples. Unfortunately I have watch from a distance due to border lock downs n COVID . Any way  today the yellow one was given rego and so is a goer, the 4x4 one is already up n running on H plates.

I know it would be upsetting the purists (both Jap & Aussie), but I really like the look of it.

Agreed, it's a bit sacrilegious but it does have a mean stance

I think I like the wheel nuts on it, but you can keep the rest..

Have a soft spot for 240z's... neighbour back home, his son was killed in an accident when he was young. Neighbour bought it back, restored it and kept it until he died 30/40yrs later.. Would love to know if his other son still has it. Best neighbours ever.

Rowlie

I couldn't find a direct link to the sale but if you look up this site - https://farmclearingsales.net.au - then follow to a sale at Diapur via Nhill (Vic) on 18th March there are some classic yank tanks as well as a 56 FJ.

I am not interested in bidding on them but I might have a crack at one or two other bits n pieces.

With the prices these things are getting at the moment, I'd be selling too. The arse has got to drop out of the market eventually and I wouldn't want to be left holding the overpriced ball.

Your bang on the money Bird
The next generation already want Evo 3's and the like
These clone/Tribute/Fakers won't be worth a pinch of pelican you know what, let alone the 80+ k they are getting for them at the moment
Yes an A9X or a Phase 3 is always going to fetch good coin but they are rare, but a dirty old Sunbird that's had a V8 slotted in ??? or one of 5 million 65 Mustangs !!
