dont see many bristol 405,s around
I was luck enough to be passenger in a Bristol (403 maybe) for a couple of laps around Lakeside racetrack in the 80's.  Very surprising car for their age.

Coolest example of Alfa Romeo's 155 DTM car set to cross auction block

This engine, coded internally as the "690RC" was powerful enough to send the 155 from zero to 100km/h in 2.5 seconds and run onto a 300km/h top speed. The engine redlined at an astonishing 11,900rpm.

https://www.caradvice.com.au/962002/unearthed-last-one-owner-1971-ford-falcon-gtho-phase-iii-in-existence/

An Australian automotive historian has unearthed what is believed to be the last one-owner example of a 1971 Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III, one of the most collectible Australian muscle cars of all time.

As it turned out, Mike didn't need much convincing to buy the 1971 Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III.

Once the dealer noticed Mike had driven to the dealership in an earlier Ford Falcon GTHO Phase II (pictured below), the sales staff knew Mike was serious – and, clearly, a good money saver

I'd be happy to give him what it cost him brand new.

I can't be fairer than that..... after all, it is an old car now.

Neat and tidy unit.
Personally I prefer the original bonnet with no scoops on these things, but each to their own. Don't mind the gills though.
