PM's (Personal Messages) Am I getting this right?

Tried sending a PM regarding the flatpack firepits. 

When I enter  RnRPhantom's details his name disappears from the address box and a little red box check box appears below.  It happens for all names as far as I can tell.  Is the message going through or am I doing something wrong?  I don't want to inundate the poor guy with numerous PM's as I'm sure he's getting plenty as it is. That is correct, you should also be able to go to the sent folder to see what you have sent.

I have a feeling that Mr Phantom may be off line at the moment but I am sure he will come back soon
