Hi all!
Just joined up to this page - have been finding heaps of useful threads on it.  We are just about to embark on a 6 month adventure around oz :)

Buying a second hand trailer in Melbourne and looking to get it up to Darwin without costing the earth (We live in Darwin)... Anyone with ideas or experiences that might help??

Cheers

That's definitely an option.  Something like a 7000km + round trip tho... Starts to add up in fuel, car services etc.

I was hoping to find someone that might want to drive up to Darwin from Melbourne but no luck so far ....and there don't seem to be many freight companies that take trailers without the tow vehicle.
