Chocolate Mars Bar cake....(grab a chocolate cake mix and put it in a pan, then add mini mars bars into it before cooking)
or
Golliwog cake....(grab a packet or two of Golliwog biscuits, coat one side with strawberry jam and then dunk the other side quickly in rum and then whack some whipped cream on the same side. Continue doing that to all the biscuits as you sandwhich them to each other with the cream. Once all biscuits are stuck to each other, cover the entire thing in whipped cream and smash up some Flake chocolate bars and sprinkle that over it. Put it in the fridge to set and the hard biscuits will all soften up. Cut the cake on 45 degree angle to serve or it'll fall apart.

no idea what a chocolate ripple biscuit is...maybe they don't call them Golliwog biscuits these days, not pc  ::) ::) but they are shaped like a Golliwog. The misses hasn't made one of those cakes for a few years now, something I just pointed out to her.

So long as you have tried your best, you should have no regrets.

I would rather have pie myself.
But my neighbor makes a delicious chocolate potato cake.
(Uses mashed potato instead of flour or maybe a combination of both)

There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

Current favourite is chocolate mousse cake

My new favourite "cake" is now Fruit Cobler cooked in the camp oven, which is just what we had for dessert last night whilst away camping....pour some cream over the top whilst it's still hot, and yummmmmm  8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Hadn't made it before, but this will certainly get another run next time we go away  :cup:

The 'raw' cake. I don't understand baking cakes. The cake mix tastes awesome then you chuck it in the oven and it doesn't taste as good but the calories are still the same.

Jeez you don't work in PR for the South Oz Gummint do ya? Some of us can't wait for their next bright idea for long suffering power consumers-
