I always seem to be upgrading[upsizing?] my IDGABTT's.

There have been many but the last one was at Mataranka Homestead, a few beers, Redclaw for dinner, a couple of reds, sitting under the annex listening to a local band roll through [a very passable] intro to "Wish Your Were Here" by Pink Floyd. Everything seemed just right.

There have been many in the past & I hope, many more.

Each August camped on the port augusta channel chasing 1.5m kingfish from Stealth Kayaks...having a GW pass underneath on the sownscanner....a fee hours later stuffing ourselves with blue seimmer crabs until we get the Shits....and sitting back with good mates drinking XXXX......brilliant

2012 family trip to the Cape. Spending time at the falls with my wife and 3 girls. Swimming, spending time away from work and the normal stresses of life. Quality time.  Doesn't get any better than that.

Hoping our trip in 2 weeks creates just as good memories.

a wooded bush paddock in the WA wheatbelt.  Big bonfire and a a big pit fire.  Plenty of BBQs and camp ovens going.  Owner has built shacks for family and friends out of corrugated iron and equipped with beds and old pot belly stoves from road side collections.  Has about 1000ah in old batteries to supply heaps of LED lighting.  Old copper to heat water and winch a 50 litre bucket into the air for hot water showers.  Dug in a septic tank system for the ladies.  Cruiser packed with beer , wine, scotch and a bottle of grandfather port for the WA long weekend and to ward off the cold night.   Best time of the year.

This would have to rate up with some of the best .  Two trucks on a deserted beach, sitting back with a few beers a good feed and  fishing,   8" of water under the trucks at  high tide during the night, Waking up to a beach without a foot print or vehicle track in any direction ..
