When not travelling I use my Waceo fridge to store my spare drinks in,  had a power outage a day ago  --  The dam Waceo has frozen and stuffed my spare drink supply. , I can't drink frozen beer,

NOT HAPPY  >:(

If my Waceo fridge ever looses power, when the power comes back, it just about always resets itself to it's max freeze temp which is not good -- NEVER never again a Waceo, this also sometimes happens when unplugging and plugging the fridge back in from moving it from the 4wd to the house.

SaltHorse

I have a CFX40 and it always recalls the last setting whether it's a minute or months withour power.

Cheers,

Salty.

I have an older cf35 and don't have that issue, it comes on at the last preset temp, might be an issue with it?

heath74

Never been an issue with my Waeco either.

Mr Man

I'll happily swap you for my ARB fridge.
I prefer my other two Waeco's any day and a third would make my day.

Whilst having no issues with my waeco, i would have loved an engel. The old man's got one that would have to be over 35 years old, still on original cord and fuse and its never missed a beat. When buying mine the engels were too overpriced for our budget.
Is yours the dual zone..as in fridge and freezer..maybe that's causing issues with the temp resetting??

You haven't by chance switched to "emergency override"? Which means it runs non stop and ignores the thermostat.

Your saying his disappointment is based on operator error.
Cut that out, Bird is after it.

Not happy with the ARB one Mr Man.

I haven't had ours that long but it seems ok.

had a fridge technician in and his pick was waeco any day of the week
one thing he did tell me about waeco to get the working a bit better

on the side of the waeco is two air vents get the die grinder out and make them bigger to allow better air flow

and something about open up to get inside and put a small fan above one of the circuit boards? next time i see him i will ask again what was the exact mod
