Hi All,
Have been enjoying reading all your posts & gleaning lots of info.
I am looking for some tips on keeping warm in a camping trailer.
Last trip to the High Country got a bit chilly, sleeping closest to the canvas was a few degrees below uncomfortable.
I have been having thoughts of some sort of tent liner to insulate, we used to have black out liners in the army.
Any thought or ideas appreciated

Throw a doona over the top and tuck it in under you. That worked for me... and 3 being under the doona and packed into a 2 man tent helped too.

I've just bought a CT and the owner before me had two pieces of some sort of building insulation cut to the size of the main tent and the annex roof and put eyelets in certain spots around them for guy ropes and then put the fly over that. It's like sizalation, about 5-10mm thick and with a foil look surface on each side. I haven't used it yet but the previous owner swore by it.

Put tomorrow's clothes close to hand - like under your pillow.  Pull them into bed to warm up in the morning, and get dressed before you get up.  Helps a lot.

We have a thermal roof for the CT made of that thinsulate style silver stuff.  Not magic, but it does make a difference.  Bulky when packed up.

What are you camping in?

Without knowing what you are camping in it's hard to advise. I have found a swag is the best way to keep warm, not much a to heat, and while camping in the snow I've been very comfortable in my swag.

We've got one, and wouldn't have a camper/caravan without one. Efficient to run, no need for an electric blanket.

Also helps dry the camper out when it's a bit wet.

Will look them up, 12v electric blanket sounds good as well.
Will also look at some style of insulation

Have to solve the problem, or the girlfriend will insist on hotels

In an Ezytrail, does the insulation go over the roof like a fly or inside, like a liner?

Yeah campers are more difficult to heat, short of a source like a diesel heater, you are looking at plenty of blankets and hot water bottles! The problem is all of the air space, that body heat will just never heat it all unlike a swag.

I find the polar fleece style blankets are light but warm, some foil house insulation under the mattress won't hurt either.

Watch for condensation under the mattress with this. Can make a bit of a mess.
Mattresses need to be able to breathe a bit.

We sleep on top of one doona and under another one. seems to work well.
200 Series 2008, bull bar, Airmax snorkel, rack with 200 watt solar, third battery, winch, 33's with 2 spares, long range tank, drawers & barrier, bash plates, lifted & locked, Richards transmission lockup plus plenty of dings. Now towing the new Off Road Glamper.

We bought our diesel heater from Ali express its been great.
In fact too much heat. Can't run it while your inside the camper, well you can but its shorts and singlet inside while -2 outside!
