Just spent 9 days down at Walpole in the Swan OB, staying at the Rest Point Holiday Village, was fantastic.  We were pretty lucky with the weather last week, as they are having severe storms now.  The Swan was awesome, with 4 of us plus the Mastiff on board.

Only issue we had was on the second last day with other dogs running loose in the park and upsetting other campers grrrrr!!  I may have got a bit annoyed when our boy dragged me sideways off my camp chair to chase one off our site...........

It really is a great place down there. I would highly recommend the other park as well. Coalmine.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. Heaps to do. We were down there the week before you.

We love it down Walpole/Denmark way.  We are limited where we can go and stay though because we travel with the furry kid, with so many national parks etc.

Would love to stay at Coalmine, but think it is no pets due to it's location.

The Walpole houseboats has been on our bucket list for many years...we finally bit the bullet before leaving and have booked one for the October school holidays for a week  ;D .......just need to sweet talk mum into babysitting the furry one  :D

We were eyeing off those house boats too. How much are they for a week?

October holidays are classed off season, so $1,500 for 7 nights on the 4 berth.  It is $1,900 during peak holidays.

Just a bit further down the road is Parry's. It has solar showers, running toilets and is very secluded. Top little spot, first in best dressed.  ;)   And dogs are welcome

Yep we went to Parrys a few times whilst down there for some beach/fishing time.  Was pretty busy, most days the overflow area had people pulling up.

Awesome beach and area!  :cup: .  The below was at Parrys.
