Up at a camp site popular with many , took Newbys to get them into CTs . Had the Bogan Duff Duff players across from us , As the day ended & got darker the music is played louder to keep Boogy Men at bay . They did at least shut down at 10 PM . Down from us Bogan Campers  with a Monkey bike rode around the camp like a lost Blow Fly  , upset the dogs & campers . Caused 2 camps to go home , pics taken Vidio taken . More to follow on this 1 .
What do you do when faced with them in all reality     ???

head further into the bush.. its why I don't go away on long weekends often. the ****head ratio to humans is getting massive.

my club a few years ago politely asked a group to shut it down (it was only midnight), to be threatened and Shit..
next day, as our the club drove off, one bloke from the club few 100mtrs out of camp found all his wheel nuts on 1 side (the side thjese ****s were on) were all missing or undone.. that could have ended much worse than it did if they were on a cliff edge...

This is too true. You almost need private access to get away from them now.

About the only thing you can do is get license plates/vehicle descriptions, photos and video evidence, and send it to Parks Vic. They do take anti social behaviour seriously and follow up on complaints.
I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

Funny I'm hearing more and more of these challenges free camping. I spent the weekend at a CP and the neighbours  were lovely, kids were respectful and everyone was quiet  by 10pm.

this is true, but some of the prices some parks charge are worse than the tax on pre-mixed drinks.

Why is it that the high country area 12,330 km2 (4,760.6 sq mi) yet its hard to find a spot with nobody around ???

Gone to a new home

We were camped up, and had my 3yo grandson with us.............A young bloke in a territory comes ripping through camp looking for a camp site, the area was pretty full, he didn't like the look of it and flew past again, at which time I called out to slow down with no effect.

He came in for a third fly by so I stood in the middle of the track and suggested that my camp and the neighbours had kids, that he had filled my camp with dust twice, and I would take a dim view if it happened a third time........he came around to my way of thinking. They camped up and we never heard a peep from them all weekend LOL

Other than that we had a top weekend :)

I'm really looking forward to virtual reality to kick in full noise. It might keep the intelectualy challenged at home. Or is that wishful thinking?
I generally get away when everyone is bach at work/school so I get most campsites to myself but I am getting increasingly frustrated at the filth left behind by mindless idiots.
No friggen wonder the powers that be are closing these places down.

BaseCamp

I am finding great success camping on private property  (sourced via youcamp)....   very much bogan-resistant venues; friendly business and property owners on site - who care!

We took this option for Easter; camping at "BaseCamp"  (no relation  :)  ).. which is a private Macadamia Farm in Yandina SEQ  ...and over Christmas; at a private cattle property totally surrounded by crown land at West Kunderang, NSW....

During these peak holiday times; we had very private and "exclusive" areas without anyone in sight; nor their screaming kids; yapping dogs; droning generators and chainsaws anywhere in earshot....

Average cost  $30 per night, 2 pax...

They're out there in private places too. I rang up about camping at a block I go to last Wednesday, he said I was right to camp & fish but couldn't shoot as he already had pig chasers booked in for the week. No worries, I made a tentative booking then tried another block on the river I gained access to... I've been kicked off there before I even got there due to scummy ****s stealing fuel.
Away we went to the other place, those lads were set up where we like to go, so off we went to the other spot John (the owner) told us about. We were wrapped with it, nice & quiet & an even better spot than the usual.
The first day when getting wood, we notices a nanny in the scrub on her own, we stopped for a look to see why she wasn't running & she'd just given birth. Next day getting more wood, she was still hanging around & it turned out she'd had twins.
That afternoon, there was gunfire going off in our paddock, I was pretty pissed off that it was that close.
Today driving out, they'd shot the nanny & the kids had perished too being so young.
I love my hunting & shooting, but I just can't understand these wanks doing this. I called into the house but there was no one home. I'll be calling him tomorrow to let him know it wasn't us & that I think those guys are nothing but grubs.

As prices go up, bush and cheap camping looks better and better until there are 800 people in 100 campsites with solid canvas only separating you and your neighbours, I patrolled on Sunday and so many people asked about quieter spots, I suggested the suburbs were probably pretty quiet ;D everyone was here.

Still working around Toolang and Murrindindi, but doing a bit of weekend work from Big River to Disso, and everywhere in between - Disso - where the term camping bogan was invented. :D

This is precisely the reason we bought our own farm to camp on.....

Bogan free or as we call it a "w@nk3r" free zone.

You're welcome anytime Jamie, just leave those green poison cans at home. Up north we drink "beer"  ;D >:D

Our sign keeps them away. As you can see how much space we had at the weekend.

Funnly enough  1 of my wheels did come louse on the way home  . The rear Right made funny scraping sounds , so l stoped . Pulled the wheel off , put it back on , problem solved .
In 218Ks l have never had that happen . Makes you think don't it ................... ???
So we got home safe & that's the story , might have to consult  :police: with rego & pics

That is why we travel the 5 hours to a friends sheep property in SW vic,Glenelg river runs through it. Although not at the moment always camp in a different spot,no noise no bogans, just us,in return for a bit of maintenance on the house, sheds or machinery, have been going there bout 5 times a year for thirty years, and on return home today stopped at the BP service centre east of Ballarat and observed the bogan number 1 ticket holder and his family of Mrs. Bogan and the 3 Jnr bogans in their clapped out landcruiser with their  camper in tow inhale their KFC and proceed to dump all thier wrappers, empty cans and any other crap on the floor into the car park, and then just drive off,we wondered what the campsite they had just left looked like after three days of camping.
Management in the service centre were quite appreciative of the photos of same and rego number we supplied them

You know one day they'll actually find your camp and rock in.

I usually hang out the Myswag flag and when someone rocks in nearby I go up and ask if they're one of us. When they say no, but I explain about us swaggers, they seem to drive out very quickly

Would someone mind writing this up?

(On tapatalk through Samsung); even on full zoom I can't read all of the wording on the sign in the pic....

Thx
