Can anyone suggest where you can find reviews on car tyres...that is honest/reliable.

I have to get some new tyres for my sedan, they are going to cost a bit..so I want to research which ones to get..and finding it hard to find somewhere/someone factual.

Any suggestions appreciated.

You will struggle to find any article that will be factually relevant.  The type of car and your driving style can completely change the way a tyre will work for you.  Not many reviews will say a tyre is crap, especially if it's from a large manufacturer.  Many of the tyre tests/comparisons are set tests but often don't take into account wear life, even wear and noise when they wear down.

Best option I'd look for is a forum on your type of car and look for members posts (much like everyone does on here) to get an idea of real world performance.  Not 100% accurate but makes it easier to sort out.

Mark, I am in the same boat as moving the current Tyres on the cruiser to the camper and am looking at a new set for the cruiser.

The only place you may find some info is on product review/ Tyres.

I'm surprised there isn't some type of testing standard for tyres, similar to other car aspects..fuel economy, emissions, safety, etc etc that at least gives you a baseline.

Unfortunatly you can buy a brand of tyre and get a great run out of them and then buy the same brand later and get a poor run out of them.

Mate I would chat to BD he is the man with the knowledge on Tyres.

Definitely PM BD, he is the go to guy for tyres.
Had a set of KM2s fitted on Saturday, 5 tyres and an alignment done before I could blink. I am actually really surprised by just how good these tyres are.
Fantastic on road manners, very good grip off road. ( had to get them dirty :D ) and everything that BD said they would be.
Obviously not exactly relevant to your car, however he certainly knows what he is talking about and has a wealth of knowledge.

In the industry I once worked in we had a saying, "The great thing about Standards, there are so many to choose from".

It's still true today.
