Flew into Williamstown yesterday with a view to the north up the coast and Hunter Valley. Can imagine Myall Shores would be a bit water logged at the moment. Camped there a couple of times a few years ago.

Were booked in for a week at Myall Shores Holiday Park around Aust Day.

Any pictures you can post up?

BTW the park is great for a getaway with creature comforts.
We drive in from Bulladhela tow the boat up and leave it in the water, out each day - awesome.

Staff at great.

The park is great,  prices reasonable  (outside of peak periods) assigned spaces VERY generous, i can fit a big tent, gazebo, truck & boat on some spots & have a waterfront site!

This is the road from the boom gates down into the park. What site are you booked onto?

Damn thats a lot of water 1 - 1.2 metres up from normal level.

Were booked in some where around site 17.
Guess the waterfront is a bit closer, but the mooring for the boat will be harder to find

Just called NRMA, the Park is still out of action and they offered a refund or a credit for our week.
We were going to be there 24-29th Jan, for a week of doing bugger all.
Got to find somewhere else now.

The people that manage the park are great, it's nice an quite when they clean up after the floods and your looking for a few days out of Sydney keep it in mind.

Hot water, flush toilets keep the missus happy, lots of water and places to explore on the boat, or just drop anchor and take it easy.
