Alternate ideas to store your camper?

Still in the research stage and hopefully will be in a camper soon, but one problem we have is where to keep it. Local outdoor storage yard is $88 month. No room at home, are there other options like private storage. Has anyone heard of people renting out room in a shed or something?

Just thought id put it out there if anyone has any alternate options, im all ears.

A location would help

Look for an elderly person in your area that still lives on a normal block, they may have some room to spare

Not sure where you live but do you know any farmers
They usually have a bit of shed space especially in the real old sheds that are lower tongue ground and won't take the size of the machinery these days
That's how I store my caravan for a carton of grog every now and again

Gives me some food for thought. Live in the Central Coast NSW. Dont know anyone of the top of my head but ill have to think if there is someone I can contact.

in the odd chance you do end up storing it out on a farm etc, maybe look at getting a box of cattle ear tags and hanging one or 2 of them off the camper while stored to deter any ants, mice, vermin etc. Iv just in my newish job been introduced to them as we are working out on cane farms installing pivot irrigators and they use them in switch board and hang them off electric motors to prevent ants and vermin. have to change them every 6 months or so but its cheap insurance. Just a thought.
