G'day team,

Took the opportunity while the kids were at school today to take the missus on a date...to the caravan and camper sale that's on in Brissie at the moment. Being my first time to this event I wasn't quite sure what to expect and was a little surprised at just big it was. The RNA was absolutely packed with all manner of camper, caravan, motorhome and everything in between; plus a few other bits and pieces. Was a bit disappointed with some of the sales people there, especially at the 'Safety Dave' tent where we were pushed pretty hard to purchase a first aid kit that we weren't even given the chance to have a decent look at; needless to say they didn't get one cent of my money and off we went. In saying that, on the whole most of the exhibitors were pleasant and more than happy to stop for a chat.

Spent the guts of an hour looking at a Johnno's Campers JCT-X-C15 and chatting to Rob and Anthony who are great to talk to. What an absolute weapon that camper is. The missus and I have been trying to work out how much we could sell the kids for to get our hands on one of those. Is anyone on here lucky enough to be the proud owners of one (JCT-X-C15, not our kids)?

Anyway, we had a good day there and it was well worth the $10 entry to have a good look at what's on offer and to see just how far the options have come since we really looked at campers nearly a decade ago.

Cheers, Paul

Lots and lots of caravans, but plenty of campers, a good handful of which were soft floors. I was really impressed with the amount of floor space inside the tent that some of the SF manufacturers are getting now, especially the walk through variants.
