Watched "The last waltz" movie last night. What a ripper of a show that was.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Ever wonder what Metallica's Nothing Else Matters would sound like with a brass section and a soul singer.....

I watched the Eric Clapton documentary 12 Bars yesterday and decided to listen to some blues while doing the mowing today.  Started with Muddy Waters' Got My Mojo Working and created a "radio station" using Apple Music.  Apple doesn't always do a great job creating stations but this time it got it pretty right with a mixture of Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, John Lee Hooker, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Urban (surprised me but it was a duo with someone else) and quite a few others I didn't recognise.

Settled into an afternoon of number crunching at work listening first to John Lee Hooker then a bit of Johnny Cash. Any suggestions for tomorrow welcome.

Ok, I'll play.
Try Car over the Lake Album - Ozark Mountain Daredevils to warm up, Roadsongs - Derek Trucks will get the juices flowing, Trouble is - Kenny Wayne Sheperd to get you going and then Rockpango - Los Lonely Boys to help finish it all off.
If you need a come down, any Toots and the Maytals will do.

The Division Bell is my favourite Floyd album.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan.

Well this has made my day much more enjoyable. I had never heard of any of these before today but I am sure they will be on high rotation in the future.

Great suggestions all of them, with Derek Trucks probably the pick of the bunch.

Now what Jazz artists would you suggest for Monday's playlist?
