Sitting out on my balcony last night I could hear Adele from the Gabba. The wind was better the night before as it was much clearer and louder.
Shame it wasn't the Stones etc etc

Dunno why some people think the whole neighbourhood needs to hear their music.
Reckon they need a dose of either Norwegian black metal or The Wiggles at 6am.  Or give the chainsaw, gennie, and mower a test run together.

I have no problem with my neighbors pumping out the tunes. It means they have no right to complain when I'm in the mood for rocking out on a Friday afternoon and crank up my window rattling stereo. Last week I was in the mood for drum solos, and the volume must be set so the bass drum pounds your chest just like if you're sitting in front of an actual kit.... ;)

The chainsaw, genie, mower symphony is the soundtrack to our weekends here in our little valley. Some Sunday mornings it's like a race to finish your morning coffee and be the first one in the neighborhood to fire up a petrol powered lawn implement. :)

Went out to Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery on Saturday and had the privilege of watching and listening top a young bloke Mitch Cullen aka Fingers. Multi instrumentalist using looping. Enjoyed it so grabbed a couple of CDs and now giving them a good run at home.

Well that's a big call, but I know what I'll be listening to tomorrow. :)

Thanks to @shanegtr I listened to the new Murhpys album (which was pretty good), then I had to to listen to their first album, then off I went down the rabbit hole following my ear back to my old skater punk days......

Found a bit of Pennywise.

And that always leads to some Fugazi.

Then the good old Aussie boys from the farm have come along and finished off my afternoon.
These are the most safe for work tracks I could find from our old friends the Cosmic Psychos.

After all of that, for some strange reason I feel like I need a beer now....  8)

Don't you just love it when you've been hunting a CD copy of an old cassette....and finally found it !!
Especially as a lot of CD's from the eighties are no longer made and finding clean copies can be hard and also may not be available to download.
Found a Joe Cocker Best Of from the early eighties from a NSW BigW online...this is the second time I've found what I wanted from them.
Worth a try for those hunting outdated CD's.

Cheers
