Concert for Bangladesh in honour of the great Leon Russell who passed today. His music is on the soundtrack of my life.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

Original artists ?

So many times I've been caught buying compilations that looked ok....and as soon as you play the first song you just know you've been had.
Then it can get more complicated when you buy something from an original artist....but it was re-recorded at some other time and it just doesn't sound right.
Fussy bustard when it comes to music I must admit.

Just spent the weekend at the Bridgetown Blues Fest.
Some awesome local and interstate acts.
Tex Perkins was awesome.
If you ever get a chance to see any of the following, do yourself a favour.
Southern River Band
Blueshady
Mindfreaks
Eugene Hideaway Bridges
Chase The Sun
Cass Eager and the Velvet Rope
Luke Escombe

Great weekend had and the weather was kind.

Cheers Glen

There's a big difference between kneeling down

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Heard a few of their "radio" hits, but some of their others...... wow!
With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....

Looks like the 70's one is original artists, didn't bother checking the 80's one, but it probably is also. But yes I always check to make sure it's original artists if I buy compilations. Another thing is, sometimes they have a handful of the charting hits, then bulk it up with a bunch of B sides and obscurities

Me too. They lost Hugh McDonald a couple of days ago. He was a bit of a Legend I think.

And droned along to "Weather with you"... appropriate due to caravans in the video (an abiding memory of the song when I was younger)
