The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary....    Remastered Mix.

I was wondering why there was a bit of GunsNRoses sound to this - and even some of their other clips seemed similar.   Mr Google revealed G&R's were their back up band prior to hitting the big time with their own look - or Maybe Not??!      Ripped off from Ian Astbury.
Vacation Camper & McTavish surfboard - what more does a guy need??

Lobby was a bloody good guitarist, couldnt count the number of times I seen him live. He was usually down the back of the stage somewhere behind an amp stack with a smoke always hanging out of his mouth. The good old days of live pub music in Melbourne

Friday night, YouTube music night, woohoo! So far in everyone's selections (our families) we've had Audaioslave, The Gaslight Anthem, Grinspoon, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Velvet Revolver.
My wife and her family worship Pink Floyd & I can't stand them. We just had a live Velvet Revolver cover of "Wish you were here" live & it was awesome!
My girls have a thing for Audioslave, Velvet Revolver & Foo Fighters at the moment... We must be doing something right  >:D

I have only gone back one page but has anyone heard the Disturbed version of Simon and Garfunkel's Sounds of Silence.
Also the Heart version of Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven.

both a few weeks old now but excellent.

luxmux

Disturbed do some really good covers, usually have one on each of their albums. They do a good cover of SHOUT and also LAND OF CONFUSION.

Mentioned it on this thread back in May. Apparently even Paul simon was taken by the cover labelling it as best ever

All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

If it's covers you are after have a listen to some of those done by Eva Cassidy, especially Her version of Stings " Fields of Gold".
