Just wondering what the toy to shed ratio of members is

I dont have a shed
18 (17%)
1 shed to each toy
4 (3.8%)
1 shed to multiple toys
32 (30.2%)
I have more more shed than toys
6 (5.7%)
My sheds are more than enough
8 (7.5%)
You can never had enough sheds
38 (35.8%)

Just wondering what members storage is like. From going from no sheds in the last house we now have 2 double garages which are double depth. The only problem is the acquiring of more toys, maybe time for a shed extension.

We currently have a single shed (single garage) for my "workshop" and some of my toys. Have a 3 bay machinery shed that is used to store hay. Have a big hay shed for horse shelter. The ultimate plan is to knock over the single garage and replace with a double with double carport. Then with the new house we are planning on building would have a double garage also. Then I might actually be able to get my tractors under cover.

So not sure what option applies??

4 car garage, plus carport on the side, fits most of my toys. I'd love some more height for a hoist though :)
I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

How do get a thread locked, when it was started by a moderator?

I live in apartment, no shed, toys parked on the street.

alnjan

My shed would cover all my toys but as we don't have a house, we live in the shed so I guess it covers all the other toys

When I built my 10.5 X 6, I was told it wouldn't be big enough.
Hmmm, they were right.
17 years later it's not.
Cruiser is living in the carport, the camper lives in the carport as does the horse float. >:D
What lives in the shed?
Fysh's car, the mower, the guinea pigs, the sons Drum Set, the push bikes(5 X), my Chippies trailer cause I don't have room to build shelves to empty it. Camping gear( because you've bought it and you wouldn't get you money back), compressor, Dart board, rudy calendars and a couple of peg boards that are chokers.
It's like the Tardis now.
I could do with another shed(Tardis) the same size and still fill it.
Is any ones shed Bigger enough  >:D
Never.

beer fridge, camper, boat and camp chair. Cars parked in front ready to hook the toys up. Everything I need.

Mind you, only managed this after no.1 son moved out with his Ute, Chippy Trailer, Mav 4by and motorbike. He wanted me to build a bigger shed out back. I gave him some money to move out and rent his own;D

What height do I need to allow for the later fitment of said hoist  ;D

Time to upgrade the slab thickness as well, might as well put in a pit as well

3.6m clear height for a 4T hoist. A smidge more for the 4.5T version.

Why would you want a pit if you have a hoist?

no need. If I ever need anything done that I don't have the tools or room for, I'll just head to Bill's place. Make sure I'm there early and help him sweep up at the end.

Either that, or yours;D
