Brisbane Puff

Hi to all. Have been lurking around this forum for quite a while. Many years ago we were very heavily involved in the 4wd and camping scene. And now that the kids are grown and left us in peace and quite, we thought it may be time to get around the country and catch up on places that we had visited many years ago. Most of our traveling in recent years involved staying in motels, caravan parks ect. But we have acquired an interest in fossicking, and so we have come to the decision that it is time to construct a camper to suit our needs. With around 30 years of experience of trips in everything from swags to tent to hard top campers, it's time to start all over again. Cheers, Puff..

Hi and thanks to all for the warm welcome.
To tell the truth, we have already started building/converting a hard top camper. And our choice may surprise many of you, but the end result it has been well thought out before we started.
I guess it would be proper to start a topic on the project in the hard top camper section ??
Although the initial explanation maybe a bit long winded at first, I would feel that our reasoning for the our direction needs to be explained..
Is that the way things are done in this forum??
