Caravans and more caravans and more caravans.
Some campers,ARB and Anaconda in a shed.More like a cheap chinese outlet.
Found 1 tent of the right size for the trailer.Looked like crap.Whifey was not impressed. On 1 of those 3 letter trailers.
All the others were too big with a billion poles.Dolly bird,"It only takes me 5 minutes to put it up".Yeah right.
Got the hard sell from the Evakool bloke. Not this little black duck.

Bought a Hema atlas, had a feed and left.

A rather non productive day.

Plenty of caravans. ;D

I don't understand why they have it on a long weekend?
Isn't everyone who is into camping and caravanning away doing it?

most of those shopping don't have something to camp in yet, thus use the long weekend.. specially if they are coming from interstate or long distances..

Yeah, it has been on the long weekend for ever, so, they must still get a crowd.

Brett and I went yesterday and today - had our usual chat to a few of the manufacturers. Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you're not there early folks...

Buy the tickets online and get free train travel.

The Evakool bloke couldn't work out why I wouldn't carry the 80 litre fridge on the train. ???

if you're with RACQ, you can put "RACQ 2015" in the promo box for a discount of 10% on ticket price, though you'll need your membership number also as it drops another box down asking for that aswell.

We got there 0930 and got a park no worries but that was yesterday. The weekend may be a whole other story. Car park is open from 0500 but gates into show don't open till 1000

Yep we went today, drove in at about 10:10 and got a park easy, no traffic line up. No line up at the ticket gates either. Wasa good day out, got a few things I needed, saw a heap of people I know, caught up with the ultimate guys, and checked out the new offerings from lifestyle. I'll say if I was in the market for a new camper, easy set up, no kids, it would be hard to go past that new one they have. At $20g I would buy that over any hard floor. Simple effective and well thought out.

Just got back, free train up and back even got through the gates 20 minutes before official opening time as they opened them up for all .. funny you should say about the fridge on the train .. saw a few on the way home, some people just couldnt help themselves with the spending and then trying to work out how to get it all on the train . ;D

Just back for there ourselves - was wanting to secure solar panels, thought I would get a show special, not a chance everything was at retail or higher, plenty of caravans but. The lifestyle breakaway really caught our eye, very well put together.

No real bargains unless you were wanting a new van - Jayco stuff was well priced but

Had a good time having a look around at the show today, picked up a few bits and pieces for the car and camper.

Really enjoyed catching up with Kerry from Modcon and chatting about where he is going with his campers. Had a good look at the Lifestyle Campers and was really impressed with their quality and bang for buck, they are certainly on our short list as a future camper when the kids loose interest in hanging out with us...
