Hi all,  recently discovered the deep cycle battery in my C/T is cactus - won't hold a charge (had to drink warmish beer).  Not really what I need when I'm about to head off on a 6 month trip in June (and have a few thousand in other costs to cover before then), but hey, better to find out now than out in the middle of no where.

I need something to run a 40L Engel fridge and LED lighting, sitting in situ for days on end (have solar to recharge when necessary), vibration resistance, heat resistance etc.

So my question is, what is everyone else using? Type? Brand?

115 a/h century - it was in the C/T when I bought it - I think I've drained it down too far too many times.  Its also about 5 years old......

How much for the 120ah full river and where from? I couldnt find them for under $350 a year ago and settled on Century 120ah deep cycle batteries for $250 each.
Had 105ah full river from new and they lasted 4 years of intense use.

This enough AH?
http://www.rpc.com.au/catalog/bae-deep-cycle-battery-4710ah-p-3453.html

Might struggle to fit them in, never mind the weight and price.......

Got some AGM's from Jetcrew. 2 x 110ah and 2 x 80ah. A total of 380ah on board the Coota.
There's another 190ah of wet cells on the GU. They all play well together.

Hey Bird , this weight is for a single cell, you require 6 cells for the 12 volt system, 1415 Kilograms is there weight for a full 12 volt battery.

I had eight 120 amp full rivers on my boat for some years and abused them terribly, running them flat several times. They always came back for more.
I'd definitely buy them again.
200 Series 2008, bull bar, Airmax snorkel, rack with 200 watt solar, third battery, winch, 33's with 2 spares, long range tank, drawers & barrier, bash plates, lifted & locked, Richards transmission lockup plus plenty of dings. Now towing the new Off Road Glamper.

I'll add here if I was using my trailer regularly, go with good batteries

If it was a twice a year trailer, go with cheapys.
