The Troopy is being Sold.

Sold the wife Jackaroo the other day, took 27 hours to sell, not bad.
Now got to sell the Pride and joy.

Going to try to get by with just 1 car now.
So....
Whilst the wife is away OS with family, well, ummm.
A bloke may find himself buying the next Tug on his own.

Sad thing is, no matter what I get, I aint gonna be fitting the same volume of kit in the back of it.

The best thing to suit our needs would be a 100 series which has the dual cab ute conversion, and have a lockup Alloy canopy on the back.
Sad reality is that the asking price for these is not reflected in the insurance cover from 3 main insurers I spoke with for quote details.
I know there is a cost for the conversion which the seller would think justified in the sale price, but it seems hard to justify $40,000 which I have seen advertised for what I want.
There is 1 near me I can walk to for 23,000, well maintained etc, but lacks some extras I would expect for that $ value and is just a steel tray back.

So not too sure what it will be at the min.

I have been looking this morning at what they are being advertised for, similar year, and K's. somewhere near 15k I guess with all the extras she has.
Got 1 thing to tidy up on the ol girl, then get the rego check done. When that's in place I'll put make the ad and see what happens.

So you might join the 105 club hey. Is having the ute section a high priority?
Another Troopy?

When I got rid of our old Troopy I was going to get another but in the end, as you know we got the 105.

Yep, due to the volume of stuff we take in the back of the troopy don't fit in the 105.
But lack of $ is preventing what I want. Sacrifice it might be, some of the Tonka Earth Moving Fleets could be left behind.  ;D
Unless I somehow get to perth and back when the kids are at school, 1 over there for 20,000 at the moment.

We originally thought we would have problems fitting all our gear from the Troopy to the Cruza. We downsized on a few items and put the roofrack on the Cruza. That all made a huge difference and of course buying the Camper trailer has changed everything.

We went up the Cape and camped for 2 weeks (before we bought the CT) me, Mrs and two teenage boys.  All of our camping gear, food water, fridges, booze, solar, clothes, fishing gear, everything.  It was a tight squeeze but we managed to fit it all in the Cruza.
