The mail is that the beach is not good at the moment from this windy cyclonic weather .......and given that there is possibly more of it to come yet, it doesn't sound good. Traditionally the beach apparently takes 1-2 weeks to allow the tides to reform the beach again after bad weather washing the sand away. So we need to hope these cyclones disappear fast.

"Kamp Cyclone Battering" will definately want to hope that this weather subsides, cause "Kamp Komfort Zone" would be quite distressed to see them left out in the elements in the dunes.........

Here's where I get to brag about the ability of campomatics to provide ultimate comfort and protection in the elemants with all the fruit on board to ensure the beers are cold and the occupants are kept well protected, fed, boozed up, power to the karaoke machines blah blah blah.... Might even find some of the softer knitting camp crowd seeking shelter in the peacefull surrounds of the well protected beach community..... I dare say between the cape york, lifestyle and ballroom additioned trackabout we will be plenty accommodated for any of mother natures elements she wants to sprinkle us with....   

The beauty will be, as you will well know from your 20 odd years of enjoying it yourself MGM, is that once the weather does shine the beach is one of the most spectacular spots to be to take it all in.....

Well, today I have bought Meagan an early birthday present.......4th of May 

I let the moths out and bought an inner spring mattress for the camper. We can't wait to get a good nights sleep every night while camping now - a week on Fraser sleeping on this mattress will be bliss. The old foam number just wasn't doing it for us.

Lucky we won't have any neighbours on our first night on the island......
