That's a lot of rum I could buy for that, and the rum would make me a lot happier than looking at fridge that you can only look at that's doesn't keep my rum cold.
Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once.

Tell him he's dreamin, Paid $500 for ours new and was glad to get half what I paid for it back after thee years ....  Looks a hell of a lot fancier than the production one we had, They worked good but all the workings being in the lid was a real pain to get stuff out of them.

You'll have to get one of the GC locals to pick it up. He'll knock $1000 off the price if you pick it up. That's a $950 saving.
With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....

Thats made me laugh because (mentioned in a prev post) a few years ago, a leading Victorian suspension company had a worn out ball joint from a newish model car which did not yet have aftermarket replacements available. They sent the worn out unit off to their manufacturers in China for assessment.

A couple of weeks later 12 samples arrived of the new ball joint.... looked perfect copies, even down to being 'worn out', can be very literal people when translations are involved.... shoulda sent em a new one.....

At that price, put me down for the first two.

Looks like it comes with a flux capacitor. Makes perfect sense as to why they want the big $$$$ for it.
And all you fools thought it was a ripoff. Pffft.  :-*

Don't be so sure as they have a habit of outliving us (or wearing us out)-

Given that you obviously are the one of us who is the most experienced in such a thing, me, I have nil. I'd like to put my case fwd as, umm, well, so I can experience it for myself.
However.
If there is a drink in it as a pick up fee, I'm gonna need supervision from someone more experienced...  ;D

It's all yours Dave. Wouldn't mind getting in on a drinking session though. I've let me skills lapse significantly in this area.
