Anyone had experience with the spray on "Rhino Lining" ?

I believe it is often sprayed on as protection in the back of utes, or for stone protection on some parts of campers.

I had it in the tub of my old ute. One of the best additions I made to the vehicle. No damage in four years of moderate use- only thing that happened is the corners where it wasn't covered by the tonneau cover faded in the sun. I believe Speedliner is UV stabilised so may be better if constantly in the sun. It stops stuff sliding around too.

Highly recommended.

its bloody great stuff.... i did my camper in Speedyliner though- tough as nails, a bit thicker than the Rhino and looks great too. Comes in a host of different colours
scroll down and have a look at my build where i got it sprayed

I had it in my D40 Navara, bloody fantastic product. I would carry pallets and sheet steel in back. Never worried about dragging the corners over lining on wheel arches as they lining was stuck well to the steel tub.

RHINO all the way.

However if DIYing it, you can try http://www.bedarmor.com/bedarmor.php
I used it in the back of mine. If I had my time again though, I would spray it on and also do two coats lol

Yep, or perhaps rubber sheet like Aussie Swag use, depending on your situation.

Al checker plate gets shabby very quickly.

What's the application of the chequer plate?
If it's for camper protection, don't use it. Stones bounce off any hard surface and into your rear window and paint work.

Pretty sure its whats on the front on my KK and also Complete Campsite trailers from factory, looks and feels tough as nails. KK's come with no other stone protection (Neither do the CC hard floors from memory). However as stated I believe a hard surface will send rocks flying back into the vehicle. I will be adding a stone stomper to prevent this.

I've spoken to an engineer who's a customer of mine and he thinks I should do the lower section of my teardrop in steel folded up as a tub and cut off and scrap what I've done.
Hurts to even think about it realy but makes sense as long as I can find a suitable Colour and texture for it.
This  style of product looks good but it's not cheap.

Ah Engineers, unless they're older 40+, most don't have a clue.
