However I was thinking of all those shiny new fourbie owners in the cara parks up the NW, busily washing and polishing their tugs and trailers while our rig looked like something the cat dragged in. I worked out the moment I ditched the unsatisfactory clip on mirrors for the solid arms and webbing down the doors what the road dust was going to do to the duco under the webbing and knew instantly why I'd bought a pre-loved tug. Had to empathise with one couple who'd left their new X-Trail up the top of a narrow bush scratching track to get down to the river when we rolled up down the bottom when they'd walked. As they said they just couldn't scratch it like us just yet

If you have a Ram Mount they have a lifetime guarantee, just get it replaced. When I got mine I specifically asked about the sun effecting the suction cup and they told me to bring it back for a replacement if it ever failed, no questions asked.
