if you want to waste some time,  sign up to stumbleupon.com      Punch in your interests (I started with 5 or 6 so not too many) and stumble away

basically millions of people with similar interests push the best sites to the top of the pile. there is some weird and wonderful crap you wouldn't normally google yourself

Mame is deadly addictive! Some of the games I'd forgotten, then when you find them, you lose 4 hours instantly..
as Muz said, back when 20cents would buy you something... It was a sad day when the games went to 40 cents.. then skyward... I think they are $2.00 a game now ..

Yeah, and a lot of them are too complex now compared to the old fun button mashers! If you want to blow off steam you cannot beat an old game
Hmmm, maybe make a 12v arcade for camping??
