Thank you to everyone, But it's just going to be a tough battle but we will get through it.

If anyone is passing through brisbane at anytime, shoot me a PM and we can catch up for a few beers

Unfortunately things aren't looking any better than 3 weeks ago.

So regretfully we might have to sell the camper.

But hoping that doesn't mean we will be kicked out of the myswag family.

So sorry to hear Mav have been hoping for some good news for you guys. I hope you are staying in the myswag family camper or not. Which hospital has Ranae been in?

maverick01

Ranae hasn't been to any recently but when they removed her tumour that was on the brain. That was done at the Princess Alexandra hospital in brisbane.

She has been dealing with the following hospitals over the past 2 years.

PA Hospital
Mater Hospital
QE2 Hospital
Redcliffe Hospital

If you had said you were buying a jeep and a caravan then yes, there would be a good chance of being shown the door  8)

Sorry to hear things are what they are.

He has been getting great reports from the dr's so that is really good.  Putting on lots of weight.

maverick01

Well sorry to have to do this.

But unfortunately Ranae was admitted back into hospital this morning at 9:30am. At 11:45 she was sent for a CT scan on the brain to find out what's causing the headaches and vomiting (similar symptoms as last time).

At 1:00pm the doctor came back to tell us that the cause of the symptoms is because Ranae has another tumour in the same spot on the brain as where they removed the last tumour. The last tumour measured 48mm in diameter where as this 1 measures slightly smaller being 45mm. But the doctor said this 1 has come back rapidly.

So by the looks of it we are back to square 1.

I'm so sorry to read of this latest news Maverick... it was only last night i really read through this thread properly for the first time and learnt about what you've both been going through, then to read this latest news tonight just now was heart breaking. Think positive mate, Ranea has been down this path once before already, with your support i'm sure she can do it all again and come out on top.
