A quick 1 to let you know that the HEMA HN7 with standard acessories is on sale at TJM for $569 rather then the usual $699. Plus comes with a 4wd offroad camping book of sorts (not sure what yet).
Must mean there is a new HEMA thingy coming out soon......

Figure I waited long enough, was looking at 1 in ARB yesterday for full price, glad I didn't grab it to then find out this morning these guys had it cheaper.
Now to seak forgiveness for the purchase...... 

Can always use the time someone sent me wrong up up a dirt track with the CT and with 3 hungry peeved kids in the back, I reversed about a k down the track to then make a turn round bay in the bush......

Yeah..just bought one. It appears that they are only on special at one group of TJM stores...the 3 listed by DaveR..the other TJM's can't/won't match it.

I still think you need to update yours to go with the new Camera Lense  You know you want one !!!

Just got back with the new toy.
The guy said they bought the last 80 units available. There were 3 other folk grabbing 1 each when I picked mine up.
The book it is sold with is "Easy Read road & 4wd Atlas" by hema, a big spiral bound book.

Does the Hema come on automatically when u turn the ignition (assuming you have it plugged into 12v). My old Garmin does but our navman doesn't.

Yes, and when you turn off it gives you a power down option of leave on or switch off

Does anyone have a reverse camera attached to the hn7?
Does the camera image appear quickly once reverse is selected?  What if the unit is switched of?  Does the unit take long to wake up before the reverse image is shown?

Yep though I was doing well at recent Sydney 4x4 show picking one up for $600. But am happy with the product but am finding I am getting some sort of interference/static  with the radio when the unit is plugged into the cig power.
