Will I look like a dickhead?

I have just ordered six 33 inch Cooper ST Maxx tyres for my beaten-up 200 series, which has two wheel carriers on the back. Now here's the question:

Do I have them fitted with the white letters on the outside, which I have a secret yearning to do - or will that label me as a dickhead?

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Hey Bullant, no offense taken. Had a good laugh. I haven't even got the bloody tyres on yet and I'm beginning to feel a bit of dickhead for asking the question. But I am enjoying the answers.

Exactly. You want your writing on the outside, others own a Toyota or jeep. Same same really, but if you own a camper we will still talk to you.   ;D ;D

If you can't decide then Left hand side white out, Right hand side white in, simple , then when the tyres get rotated you could swap sides for a change

White on the outside It's only the other way round when your embarrassed about your choise

deepop

I think we've spoken about this before.

If you do more left hand corners than right hand ones you need the white outside on the right side - and obviously opposite for the opposite situation.   If you do more straight line travel of course you need to put white outside on the fronts - unless you do more straight in reverse - then it's opposite.

Of course!

This way everyone will know which type of DH you are - unless all the white is on the inside!

Okay,

So we have 9 votes for the white writing on the outside, 1 for the inside, 6 people who think I'm a dickhead for asking the question and two other blokes who agree with them.

So it looks like a hung jury. So I think I might go with the outside and see how it feels. If I like it I might start driving at night with my sunglasses on.

And yes I do have a camper, retired two weeks ago and would love to come to the next Myswag meet.

You'll spot me straight away - arriving after dark with crisp white letters on the outside of the tyres and sunglasses on.
