was in Sydney today and back on Central Coast tonight and it's progressively cleared up and drained away by the hour. Current issue on the coastline is the high tide backing up street drains.

Sydney has gone into absolute meltdown over what would been considered "afternoon showers" in Cairns or Darwin?????????
yep, was in Sydney this morning thinking I've been in better storms in the Vic High Country, although up there it does drain away pretty efficiently🤔

Ooooiiii we dont like to get our suede shoes wet. Our 2 million dollar terrace houses can only handle 1mm or less of rain under the 70 year old footings or the whole frikin lot falls over and collapses on my Range Rover, that has not moved from out the front since i bought it home from the dealership in 2016 or else i would loose the parking spot.
So take your northern attitude and swing back up in the tree that you came from

Love it!!! There was an Italian restaurant in Leichhardt (which is a very Italian neighbourhood in Sydney) with a sign over the barista station that said: "NO DECAF. NO SKIM MILK. THIS ISN'T PADDINGTON."

Back to my basket weaving. With a Chardonnay of course.

hoping we get bucket loads of rain...after the driest November on record ever for us and very little rain in the months before that, we need a good soaking here.

yeah she's bloody dry in so many areas...hopefully we get the rain they are forecasting, but i'll believe it when I see it. The media see posts on weather social media sites about possible events occurring, then hype the crap out of them, and so often they are confined to a small area and everyone else is left disappointed

Hopefully the rain falls where it is needed and does it in a way to not cause flooding and other issues.

Been an interesting start to summer in WA. Very very hot in the Kimberley and Pilbara but here in Perth I have not felt the need to run my house aircon at all.

Tip for Friday is 38C but then cooler on Saturday.

been pissin down constantly since middle if the night here....
