I had the side of a house open putting in a 4.8mtr wide timber door when that storm hit today. Had small hail and rain blowing into the lounge room, luckily the house had wide soffits or it could have gotten very wet inside the house...lol.

that's ok, in a mischievous manner, I like to think your summer storms are like Melbourne's winter ones, only warmer, a lot warmer;D

You guys in SEQ getting a bit wet?

Lots of rain and hail.  No damage thankfully.  Good luck down on the lowlands.

BaseCamp

20 seconds from turning into the shelter and protection of a servo not open...  hazard flashers going...  6.5+mtrs of tug and van in tow about to turn when some #@$&  DIPSTICK  sees me and jumps in ...  taking the only cover available ..

He's now beside me   under cover    OMG

I'm exercising MAXIUM self control right now....

No hail thankfully  (yet?)....

Shake&Bake BB

You get out and in to the world -- you take more @#&$. ...You climb a little higher, ..you take less @#&$.  ...Till one day -- you're up in the rarefied atmosphere -- and you've forgotten what @#&$ even looks like....  Welcome to the layer cake son.

hailed at our place, though thankfully we still have all our windows left this time around. My weather station did take a direct hail hit though, and part of it is broken off (the part that measures wind speed). Below is a pic i took on my phone just before the storm hit here

read on a weather forum of a few houses with busted windows in Warwick KB, good to hear you got away without that sort of damage happening to you.

No rain in the last two nights.
