Ok, Ive searched and searched on this forum, can't find it.
I recall reading a product (aussie made) - 20 litre bucket with lid and a metal head plunger.
The plunger was alloy or steel with a head shaped as an X.

Anyone tell me the name of it or the company.

Thanks.

sol

I've seen the ones with the plastic plunger and they were available from Camec.

My favourite (being lazy) is bucket with a lid or better a drum http://www.bunnings.com.au/venture-bmw-30l-blue-tint-wide-mouth-water-storage-drum-with-bung_p3240534

Place water clothes and detergent in drum

Put in car

Go for a drive.  Everything is clean

Rinse

I find if I fish long enough, it seems to get done :)

If your not talking about mud covered clothes, then we just use a strong bucket with a tight fitting lid. Chuck clothes in, water, washing powder and put the lid on tight, then start the days drive and let the bumps do the rest.

lf you use the 20L drum & wool mix letting the corrugations do something useful . No need to rinse just wring out & hang to dry . Then its time for

Get yourself a normal plunger with handle, drill a series of 12mm holes in it and you have the best bush washing machine money can buy, been using one for years, along with the bucket half full for the days travels over rough corro roads.

Yogi and renno did mine in on the cape trip, but up until then used it for a few years.
