My 28 year old 40l Engel is in need of a face lift. It has a fair bit of rust on the lid & sides. I'm thinking of just doing a light sand & touch up with a rust proofing paint.
What product should I be looking at as it does a fair bit of marine environment work.
Any advice appreciated.

P.S. I got an insulated cover for it 3 years ago & in any humidity there is quite a build up of moisture inside the cover. Is a cover really necessary???

I'd give it a sand, maybe light wire wheel the heavy rust bits. Hit it with some rust converter, light coat of etch prime then a couple of coats of appliance white. Should be good for another 28 years.
