Hello everyone.  Thought I had better introduce myself seeing as I am going to be spending a lot of time here. The name's Nathan, from Adelaide.
I went to the Adelaide caravan and camping show recently asI was looking for a self inflating mattress for the tent. Well the missus got involved and before I knew it I had purchased the display Jayco Outback Swan. We have wanted one for a while now and being the last few hours of the show got a deal I couldnt resist.
Have used iton a few overnighters so far and love it.
We are also are in the midst of planning our first decent trip from Adelaide to the Gold Coast via the Snowys and NSW Coast. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nathan, welcome to MySwag, you'll get plenty of advice around here. If you haven't been to the Snowys before you are in for some great camping.  Have a look at Geehi and Tom Groggin as a few to start with, plenty of great spots!

Cheers,

Simon

Hi Nathan... we just got back to Port Hedland after flying down to the Perth Caravan Camping Show with the intentions of "Just Looking" and it looks like we've just bought ourselves a Aussie Swag Camper... so my hubby can totally relate to what you've just experienced LOL.  So good to know we're not the only ones that this happens to.  Enjoy your camper :D

Supersi

ChrisLucas, well done, nothing like impulse buying!  You've made a great choice with the Aussie Swag.

Kia Ora TeamKiwi,

Welcome to the forum, we are going to the Sydney show next month and I will be having the same problem with the Wife lol. We are also only new to the forum but have been welcomed with open arms and campfires.

I can see I am going to get a lot out of my time here. Hopefully I can contribute in one way or another. Now to find as many tips and tricks as I can on the Swan:)

GUEY

Hey mate welcome to the forum. The swans are a great bit of gear.
Question - Is that a blind that they have on the door now?
If so geez there getting flash lol.

Hi Guey, yes it is a blind. Must admit I am enjoying an innerspring mattress compared to the air bed that kept going down.

Nice buy there mate.
Don't complain! It could be worse, you could be six foot under or a brick of ashes!!
