I have bought a couple of things from Hare and Forbes - They are having a 3 day sale 27-29th March ..

Some of you are into MIG welding - ArO2 cylinders for $55 .. Would not have a clue if that's a good price or not  but

check it out here - http://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Specials if it is - Heaps of other stuff too ..

Just be careful what you buy , some of their stuff is..... how do you say it......, not quite as good as some of their other stuff, be very careful of anything hydraulic

Their HAFCO woodworking machines are a bit that way too .. I'm sorry I bought one .. Had to go and buy a Triton later so I could cut reasonably straight .... M

I have had my eye on one of these for a while.

Think I'll be in trouble if I buy one though.

With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....

They're not too bad Shane, its three phase so thats OK, single phase not so good, dont forget you have to buy the xtra rollers to suit the pipe you are using

That's a neat idea, haven't seen it before. I have a large linisher like that and they are great. It would be good for dressing up tube after you have notched it but to linish the whole notch it would make a fair mess, use up belts and get the tube mighty hot IMO
Here for a good time, not a long time!

Haven't used one in that brand before, but an American version.
1 5/8 0.083" wall 4130 would notch it at a 45* in under 10 seconds, effortlessly. Even if the H&F one was twice as slow, I'd still be stoked with that ;D

Depending on who operated the machine, we would use 2-3 belts for a full doorslammer chassis.

Yeah, and they add up. So does buying the replacement bearings in boxes of 100. They don't last long.

I bought a table saw (+  bandsaw & dust extractor) from the a few years ago. Motor on saw went splat after a couple of weeks, rang them up & they sent me another (motor) no questions asked, havent had any probs with any of the other gear, though only using it casually. I think if you were trying to use them for business use I'd be really checking them out
All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible.

Thats cause they replace so many of them there are no more questions they can ask
