I use this one
https://www.telstra.com.au/online-shop/mobile-broadband-product.cfm?flow=prepaid&device=telstra-prepaid-wifi-4g-e5372t

But should have bought the wifi 4g advanced

The screen on the one i have sh*ts me.

works pretty well though. The only complaint I have is that the data is stoopidly expensive compared to everyone else. But Its the only provider here for wireless net that is usable.

yep agree with the others, i have had the telstra 3G - connect up to 5 devices - mobile broadband dongle .. no issues .. have upgraded to the 4G version ... a tip for others, if you have the 3G and still have credit left simply switch the SIMs between the 3G and 4G dongle (this was advised by telstra consultant and appears to be working on first try)

Yeah the sims appear to be the same. Went from a 3G sim I had in the original iPad and installed it in a 4G iPad and kept credit and get 4G
Here for a good time, not a long time!

Another vote for the Telstra 4g.  Antennal easily connects to the top.  Use a router when at home and that works perfectly; still have the antenna connected as we are in a fringe area for the 4g.  When in a city we can get speeds like this –                     Kevin

Anywhere that Telstra has 4G a data sim can connect at the highest speed. The only limiting factor is the device the SIM is plugged into.

This way you chew through more of their outrageously priced data. >:D

I know VodaFone have different SIMs for 3G and 4G (? isn't it really 3.5G). Having said that I have to say I am getting more and more impressed with the Voda network out here. There are even points where I get Voda reception and not Telstra (30 Km out of Parkes).

TOPNDR

Telstra (the greatest mob of @holes that ever drew breath) 4G Advanced.  4G wifi hub, connect up to 10 devices.  Internal, long lasting battery, doesn't require a USB port like KrisandKev's above.  So far so good.

Thanks for all the input guys,
picked up a 4g usb wifi dongle from the Telstra shop. $99.
Awesome speed.....should have made the move long ago..
Guy in the shop seems to think I will not need an external antenna, as the
inbuilt one is extremely good ..? (Salesman).
So I shall see how it performs over time.
once again, thanks for the input guys..
