I'm not keen on stickers. Myswag sticker is compulsory but any others is not my thing.
I think you may bend the rules a bit if ever Richmond win a grand final in the near or distant future, but until the I will continue looking in my rear vision mirror admiring the art work from the stickers on my back window.  :cup:

Yep, I reckon your in depth survey and quantifiable results are spot on the money!

Read the 1st paragraph of my 2nd sentence. I'm not having a shot at anyone, just making an observation as, where I live, I have a Shitload of 4x4's come through to the nearby tracks.
No offence intended, Dazzler.

No offence. Just throwing a lure.  My prado is an inanimate object that I have no attachment to. It does a job.  Would happily own anything of similar quality. I think your observation is just funny is all - a certain vehicle for the look how tough I am brigade?  I would have thought that belonged to the six inch lifted live axle brigade myself.

Thanks rumpy, its seems the walls bulge out excessively when the pressure is reduced and are exposed to rocks, I've never bothered with it to be honest.

Its the trend now it seems.
it was more bad luck  and a bad line with the guy driving, there were 2 rocks beside the track and he managed to clip one of them. he barely touched the rock according to the guy behind him who saw it happen (didn't even mark the rim), just a super sharp rock that cut straight through the side wall was all...reckon it wouldn't of matter too much about tyre pressures to be honest.

Fair enough rumpy, not my experience but thanks.  ;D

FFS, anybody  else wanna have a go,

I was comparing MY current setup to an Xtrail.

In no way was I comparing to anything or anybody else.

Fk, too many highly strung people around here.

When did I say a 100 series was not a 4wd.

I was comparing to what I drive to an Xtrail.

Mate, if you run around calling people dumb, then don't be surprised when you cop some flack.  If you can't take it, then don't dish it out.

33 inch tyres, tick,

3 inch suspension lift, tick,

Bullbar, tick,

Roller drawers, tick,

Factory diff lockers, tick, etc, etc, etc,

I've got all this stuff and more, and still won't take the fourby off the bitmen.

I've got a diesel forester
it very pretty too
It hasn't got low gear
but gets better fuel economy than you
not a proper four wheel drive
well it is I'll have you know
just not as capable as some
in the places it can go.

I am going to kick the soap box from under you.

It was a reference to some body saying an Xtrail is just as capable, if not more, than a proper 4wd.

It still sh!ts me, no end, when you see these types of "4wd's" and their very ignorant owners blocking access and inland tracks on Fraser Island. Then get onto public 4wd forums saying their Xtrail/Forester/CRV and whatever else they call a 4wd and say they are just as good, or better.

I'm not the one that brought up an old thread and got on my soap box.

I was happy to let it die.

Just to diverse. Many years ago on a my swag trip to the Cape a guy came over to have a go at us at Sesia about 4wds wrecking the tracks.

We sat back and listened and asked what he was driving. It was a Nissan pulsar. He naturally drove the bypass roads and on the boot of his car he had pop riveted a sign saying he drove the OTL Track.

We could not stop laughing. He kept having a go at us until JK walked over in a singlet and he backed down.

The main thing is if a vehicle suits the purpose of what you want it to do that's all that matters. Not every one heads off looking to tackle tracks that does not suit their vehicle.

Really, what is the real point of this? You have an Xtrail and people look down on you, who cares. People with big flash 4wds dont take them off road, again, who gives a toss. People with so called real 4wds think they are better, who gives a toss. At the end of the day, you know your vehicle and what it can do,  where it can go and the enjoyment it provides you. Who cares what others think and you have to prove nothing. Just get out and us it. Cause IMO for what its worth,  that sticker makes you look like the w@$£ er. No offence intended. Live for the satisfaction in you knowing the truth....:-)

So well said mate

Who cares what others drive, we Toyota drivers have a bit of friendly banter with the Patrol drivers but it's all in fun.  Drive what you want to drive and know your vehicle limits as well as your limits(as the driver)

What ever you drive just get out there and enjoy it and don't criticize others for what they drive

I'm putting in an order for one of these bad boys.

You can't see it but the sticker on the back says:

It might not be a real pushbike caravan ... but its more of a pushbike caravan than some, mostly, kind of maybe.

See you at the cape ... whoop whoop whoop.

With all due respect.  bobnrob never claimed that.  You went on the attack in the 2nd post, in what should have been a light hearted thread.
