We've not long bought ourselves a CT from friends of ours that are upgrading to a bus. The wife isn't much of a camper (she prefers 5 star over 5 billion) but I have managed to drag her out a few times, so I thought an upgrade from a tent to a CT may help get her out a little more often.

Some of my best memories as a kid are camping and I really want my 2 little men (Lucas - nearly 4 and Blake - nearly 2), as well as bub on the way to have the same memories when they grow up, which is one of the reasons i decided to get into camping again (as well as an excuse to have a bevvy or two and do some star-gazing). In particular I remember as a very young fella staying at the "Lazy Daisy Caravan Park", were the old man met "The Delltones" with a pillow strapped to his bum learning to roller skate...

Anyway, we bought what we could afford and as time and money becomes available I would like to update and possibly custom build something down the track...

Favourite camping spot at the moment is Lake Glenbawn but that may have something to do with the fact that we lived at Scone when i was younger and spent a fair bit of time there.

I'm taking the old man and Lucas camping this long weekend out to Cundle Flat Farm for the CTs first run in our hands which I am really looking forward too. We do a few different types of camping-

Boys weekend (Me, Lucas, Blake, Dad, my two nephews who are 11 and 14 and friends and their boys)
Family (the above plus the missus and my two sisters)
Daddy and boys (just the three of us)

so I needed a pretty flexible set up so i think what we bought should serve the purpose

Anyway, hope to meet a few off you around the camp fire over a few refreshing bevvies and thanks in advance for help with my daft questions...

Welcome Robbo & Co, great to have you onboard.
Your CT looks the goods, and nothing wrong with Lake Glenbawn.
Great place to camp.

Thanks for the welcome.

It's a Top Trail camper and it's only a couple of years old.

With the budget I had, I thought it was a good way to upgrade to a camper that was nice and roomy for the boss.
