That is just sensational footage, thanks for posting. My dad attended a few IOMs and I had a friend who's dad rode it in the 50's, also knew some later riders as well. Never been but it may have to become  the first thing on my "bucket list"

Never owned an Aprilla but i know what the motors are like as in the Can Am Spyder Roadster, it is fitted with the Austrian built 998cc Rotax 60 Deg V Twin motor the same as in the Aprilla RSV Mille.It has some serious mumbo for something that weighs 350kg so i can imagine what it would be like in the bike.

Brilliant!!!!! - was there in '83 - laps were around 115 mph then - now over 131 mph - whew!
