Looks like the Prado was a fair way down the bridge before impact.

No skid marks from the Prado and heaps from the road train. Methinks the Prado was stopped when it was hit. Truckies fault here. Common sense dictates it should of stopped and allowed the Prado to back out, if the truck driver was paying attention that is. Would be interesting to see the official investigation result.

I think the skid marks would have been inside the Prado if I was driving it .
And a big footprint shaped dent where the brake pedal used to be.

Hope all were OK

Visual perspective, and its perception is interesting.  From the first photo I'd have guessed that the road train looks to be furthest in.

Might is right, or so they say.

l will back the Kenworth what ever direction it wast to go , l would also sit on the side of the road & watch as it roars by ,
Some years ago 2 back packers in a Combie stopped on the Ord river crossing to go for a swim . South bound Road train in full flight didn't see the other rig as it was just out of sight . Rolled the Combie into a ball & it landed 30M off the road . lt sat there as a warning to all . But still it happens  .  ??? ??? ???

Poor people (truck and Prado drivers and occupants).

One thing I'd like to suggest is blocking out people's number plates when posting pics?
