Impact Wrench

I used a Makita Cordless impact wrench today at work, and its was not very noisy at all. It seemed upto the task for wheel nuts, although that's not what I was using it for.

I got the Dewalt impact wrench, works great.

Purchased the Makita impact wrench this morning. Bunnings ticket price $225, they price matched ToolHQ -10%. I walked out with it for $170

That makita at 170 is good price. the ryobi is 99 from big green shed.

Yup as long as it is the identical item, an Aussie shop and they add postage. In this case postage was free

I thought in another thread, (think the bunnings vs masters thread) that a few were disspaointed with the bunnings price match guarantee?

I have taken a print out previously, this time I just used my phone as the lady in the tool shop has got used to me asking for a price match

Is it wrong to get a price match from the big green shed for a product advertised at you place of work??  Maybe if you went in uniform it might be considered bad taste

Nah, more restricted to Victoria and southern NSW. Although they do own companies in FNQ, Darwin and Broome. Never seem to get a gig to o and have a look at these stores though...

Yep. I have quite a few (maybe 10) Ryobi One+ tools, and some for a LONG time. None of the tools have EVER failed.
The original NiCad batteries died long ago, but were replaced with Li-Ion.
Very happy with them.

I'm working on my collection too. We have a bit of stuff for camping, but the tools seem strong enough for the DIY stuff around home. Got the rattle gun for winding down the legs on the camper, coz I'm that lazy

I wouldnt call it lazy, most oldies have a cordless drill etc to raise and lower their legs.


But its bloody annoying when I want to sleep in and the guy next spot over makes a heap of noise raising his legs.. very annoying.

They would leave at 6 ish, drive slow, we usually left around 10 and catch up to them later in the day.
