Well my fellow swaggers, I have a HUGE thank you to shout out for Mat and Ben at Ultra Tune Wodonga today.
My self and a friend decided to take advantage of all the snow from Saturday and headed up to Falls creek for the day on Sunday.
We had a pretty good day snowboarding and came back to the patrol at about lunch. I noticed a poop tin of trans fluid turning the snow pink. Upon further examination I discovered that the trans cooler line fitment had completely detached and pulled the whole backing fitment out of the radiator tank. Now this was supposed to have been rectified only a month or so ago by specialist radiator mob.

So after a few phone calls to RACV and finding out that they weren't able to tow it till the next morning due to already having a huge amount of cars to tow out with frozen fuel I got a hold of Ben from Ultra tune. I let him know what the problem was and that I wasn't able to bodge it up to get it off of the hill, and what did he suggest? (this was about 5pm on Sunday Arvo)
Mat (the owner) called me back and asked if it was possible to get accomodation for the night and first thing in the morning they would head up with a new radiator and get it sorted for me!
(its only about an hour and a half drive from Wodonga)

So This morning Ben rocked up with a new radiator and all the various bits and bobs, coolant/anit freeze, trans fluid etc etc.... and a couple of hours later the patrol was running, not leaking and ready to drive off the hill.  :cup:

The whole time we were doing the radiator it was snowing and below zero in temp.

So not only was my car fixed in extraordinary conditions, kms from home. But now it is right to drive down to Melbourne in the morning for Little Kath's  specialist appointment at the Royal childrens hospital.

As most would know I have a pretty good relationship with Mat and Ben at Ultratune but this was way above and beyond what even I thought was doable.
So a big thank you guys!!!!!!!!!

Lol I did say I have a pretty good relationship with the boys there  :cup:
Honestly, the reason I don't mind having the decal on the car is from day one they have gone way beyond what I would call even exceptional customer service.
Not only to me, but to other people I know also.

But what they did for me this time was enough to put the respect level even higher.
Im just wondering where else I can put ultra tune stickers now haha

That's awesome service.

Curiously - why did you not go to them in the first place instead of the radiator place to do the initial work?

Is that a standard Nissan bonnet catch/support?...

Well done to the UT team.
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?  (Homer J Simpson).

The radiator was sent out from them to the radiator mob here for repair a couple of months ago.

haha because it was so cold the bloody struts wouldn't hold the bonnet up. As soon as we got back down the hill they worked fine haha
