I have been a member on here for a few years now, met some very nice people, and a few that ... well you know... . there a bit of a worry... ..   99.9% of them i would be more then happy to sit around a camp fire and share a few sherberts with them..
But some ... just need a bloody good smack...

Nothing to apologise for there BHG, I have been called much worse, and it's usually by other black fellas.
When you really think about it BHG, back in the 60's and 70's we were called "coloured", yet when the white people were embarassed, they went red, we stayed black, when the white fella got cold, he turned blue, we stayed black, when the white fella got sunburnt, he turned bright pink, we stayed black, now that got me thinking, who is actually coloured.
We are all equal thankfully, and if I let a few words here and there hurt me, I would have knocked myself off years ago.

BHG like the GFY in your qualifications, I told one of the young blokes at work that the other day, he didnt know what it meant so I told him, got written up for hurting his feelings, poor little darling. " I have the radius, how do I work out the diameter" I replied" r2", he said, " I am being serious", I said "so am I, r2", so he went and complained to the boss, breed them smart at work

No, I don't understand why you would post a thread about how some people need a smack because they are objectionable and then in the same thread refer to Indigenous people as "Abo's".

Dazzler I think he explained why he used that analogy and the person most likely effected accepted it. There was no racism inferred. I understand that term is offensive today and BHG should have made the effort but let's not blow it out to anything more.
